We were recently contacted to provide a valuation for insurance for a gentleman who had received a Rickenbacker guitar from the 1960’s as part of a relative’s estate. We were happy to advise him that his guitar was in fact a quite rare 1964 Rickenbacker 345/1998RM, 3 pickup Rose Morris model. These particular guitars are highly prized by collectors especially in the United States due to their scarcity, violin style “f” sound holes, 3 “toaster” pickups and association with the Beatles and other British Invasion bands of the early to mid 1960s. The guitar came with wonderful provenance and was …

We have prepared condition reports on all of the guitars and are currently awaiting notification to attend court as an expert witness.
